Take a leap into an epic saga to defeat your father: Death

A GOD FORSAKEN

Left to rot as the ferryman of the Spirit Realm for thousands of years, Death has toiled while other gods prosper. Coveting the power and worship of the other gods, Death snaps and uses his power to trap souls of the recently deceased in the Spirit Realm, where he absorbs their essence to empower himself. As his son, you tried to stop him from destroying the balance of the realms, but your words could not sway him and you were not strong enough to stop him by force.

DEATH IS NOT THE END

After unsuccessfully trying to stop Death you were banished to the Mortal Realm by him. Caution is needed because every mortal you kill on your quest sends their soul to the Spirit Realm and empowers Death. Sparing everyone won't work because you must kill to become stronger, but killing every enemy will grant too much power to Death. The more powerful the mortal, the more powerful it makes Death, who is the one you must defeat in the end. Finding balance in taking life is left in your hands.

I really like the GUI elements (gave me Legacy of Kain vibes). The biggest issue I had currently was the movement being stiff, but once that's taken care of, you have a really solid foundation for something awesome.

Thank you for playing. I'm taking a lot of inspiration from fable and other ps2 era rpgs. Yeah movement needs work, I'll try to get it right next demo day.
